🥩 Our Core Feeding Philosophy

We believe in a balanced, species-appropriate diet that reflects the Siberian cat’s natural needs — with the convenience and consistency of trusted commercial brands. Our approach combines:

High-quality kibble as a base (currently Acana)

Raw meat and organ meats added daily

Natural supplements for immune support and coat quality

Wholesome freeze-dried treats

No artificial fillers, grains, or unnecessary extras

🍖 Daily Raw & Whole Food Additions

To elevate nutrition beyond the bag, we include:

Raw heart (a natural taurine source)

Raw or lightly cooked egg yolks (vitamin-rich and great for skin/coat)

Goat milk (gentle on digestion, rich in calcium and probiotics)

Occasional gizzards or liver (rotated to avoid excess vitamin A)

These additions help build strong bone structure, maintain healthy digestion, and support the plush, water-resistant coats Siberians are known for.

🐾 All raw ingredients are handled safely and sourced from trusted, food-grade suppliers.

🥣 Why We Chose Acana

We currently feed Acana, a premium kibble that provides:

• High protein from whole meat sources

• No by-products or artificial preservatives

• Moderate fat levels (ideal for digestion)

• Great palatability for both kittens and adults

We’ve tested other brands like Taste of the Wild, Instinct, and Life’s Abundance — and while each has its strengths, Acana consistently supports healthy stool, strong growth, and beautiful coats in our cats.

🍗 Favorite Treats: Stella & Chewy’s

For treats, we love Stella & Chewy’s freeze-dried raw! These protein-rich bites are:

• Irresistible to kittens and adults

• Made from responsibly sourced meats

• Perfect for training, socialization, or just a healthy snack

Whether it’s chicken, duck, or salmon, they’re a great way to reward without compromising nutrition.

🧬 Supplementation: Less Is More

We also support our Siberians with:

Taurine powder (especially for kittens)

L-lysine (during times of stress or immune challenge)

Biotin or coat-support blends for show preparation

Supplements are tailored based on age, activity level, and specific needs — always aiming to nourish without overloading.

🚫 What We Avoid

• Grains, soy, and corn

• Raw fish (can interfere with vitamin absorption)

• Artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives

• Over-supplementing or guesswork

🐱 Feeding for Growth & Show Condition

Our kittens are introduced early to both raw and kibble-based diets, with gradual exposure to supplements and treats. Show cats are fed with extra focus on muscle tone, hydration, and coat bloom — the hallmarks of a healthy, thriving Siberian.

Each cat is an individual, and we adjust their nutrition as they grow and develop.
